☂Japanese日本語

I am very, very slowly working on learning Japanese. I try to get as much exposure to it as I can. I practice whenever I can…. here are some of the resources I utilize! Pleeeeease let me know if you would like to practice with me, or if you know of additional resources you have used that you’ve found helpful! :D

All Japanese All The Time — This guy cracks me up! :D Not only is he hilarious, but he learned Japanese and is now learning Chinese, and his system really makes sense to me. And, did I mention he’s hilarious? Check out this post about Japanese Babies That Suck Even Harder Than I Do. :D (Sounds horrible, I know, BUT! There is a very very good point to it all. And the cutest little Japanese children ever. ;) )

iKnow —I really like this site! They recently became a paid service, but totally worth it IMO. (y)

Live Mocha — I like this site a lot too! I like iKnow better, but this one is quite good, just takes a different approach. It’s more people interactive, which is helpful, certainly; probably better, honestly, since that’s the point of learning a language, right? Communication with others, yes? I think I must just like the interface of iKnow more…. ;)

Twitter —I’ve made friends with a couple different native Japanese people. They are really nice, and awesomely helpful in figuring out what I’m trying to say, and explaining culture stuff.
